BROKEN BREAD MINISTRIES |
Broken Bread Ministries invites you to partner in our vision.
Inspired by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, our vision is to serve as a catalyst for nurturing future leaders within the body of Christ. We actively provide resources and unwavering support to God-inspired nonprofits, ministries, charities, and programs, as well as their dedicated leaders. Additionally, we aim to foster spaces where the Holy Spirit can move freely among congregations of Christ-led believers and those earnestly seeking a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Annually, commencing from Rosh Hashana, Broken Bread Ministries carefully chooses three charities to support. We invite all members to join us in partnership by making a financial commitment to one or more of these selected charities. This year, Rosh Hashana commenced on September 15, 2023, and the following charities were chosen:
The Open Arms Foundation, situated in The Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) in Southern Africa, was established with the primary aim of uplifting disadvantaged children by instilling values of faith, community, and learning. The Foundation is dedicated to nurturing young hearts, fostering faith, enriching young minds, cultivating a sense of togetherness, promoting compassion, and championing the rights and welfare of underprivileged children. Through raising awareness and rallying resources, the Foundation endeavors to address the challenges faced by these children, striving to make a positive impact on their lives.
The Columba, SC Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind actively campaigns for improved policies that prioritize accessibility and guarantee equal opportunities for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. They focus on cultivating an inclusive environment across workplaces, educational institutions, and communities. Advocating passionately, they champion the rights of visually impaired children, ensuring they receive essential resources such as textbooks and classroom materials for their education.https://www.afb.org/help-afb?gad=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3qaq653-gAMVR39MCh19xAyJEAAYASAAEgKDkfD_BwE
Frontline Response originated in 2003, born out of a deep commitment to supporting those on the frontlines, constantly identifying needs, and offering solutions. Officially incorporated in 2010, Frontline Response has significantly aided almost 1,500 victims in escaping sex trafficking and has successfully transitioned over 1,000 individuals—men, women, and children—away from homelessness. Expanding its mission in 2018, the organization incorporated youth prevention, delivering proactive programs to more than 600 young individuals confronting challenges in underrepresented communities across Metro Atlanta. https://www.frontlineresponse.org/
